We support the essential work of our members by:

  • Successfully Advocating for Infrastructure Investment in the NEC. Advocating for increased funding, important changes to federal programs, and increased investment in the NEC.

  • Shaping Critical Legislation Impacting the NEC. Shaping policy at the federal by actively participating in regular meetings organized by CNEC with members of Congress, hill staffers, and federal officials.

  • Facilitating Regular Congressional and Executive Branch Communication. Organizing regular fly-ins, virtual, and in-person meetings to connect our members to influential policy makers representing states and districts along the NEC, sitting on relevant House and Senate Committees and Subcommittees dedicated to passenger rail infrastructure, and administering federal programs used to support NEC infrastructure.

  • Pulling Together Key NEC Stakeholders. Coordinating bi-weekly CNEC membership calls to provide the latest updates on transportation legislation, appropriations, regulations, upcoming hearings and roundtables, efforts of champions to invest in NEC infrastructure, and engagement with the administration.

  • Increasing Member Visibility on NEC Priorities. Gain visibility by being quoted in CNEC press releases, speaking at regional CNEC events focused on increasing investment in NEC infrastructure projects, and testifying before Congressional Committees on the importance of the NEC.

  • Providing Access to Member-Only Materials. Receiving member-only one-pagers and briefing materials to improve your advocacy when requesting increased funding, making important changes to federal programs, and encouraging investment in critical NEC infrastructure.

  • Coordinating Coalition Advocacy Efforts. Providing members with opportunities to testify and provide written testimony during critical hearings before relevant House and Senate Committees and Subcommittees dedicated to passenger rail infrastructure.

  • Equipping Your Employees With the Latest NEC News. Sending bi-weekly newsletters to members recapping CNEC’s most recent work, latest legislative and regulatory advancements, and news coverage of critical projects along the NEC. Newsletters also provide an in-depth overview of the week ahead in Congress, transportation-related Committee hearings, infrastructure grant opportunities, news coverage on infrastructure projects located up and down the NEC, and upcoming events that CNEC members are participating in.

  • Enhancing Your Social Media Presence. Providing members with social media content to increase your organization’s social media presence on critical legislative and regulatory initiatives.

PLATINUM MEMBERS (Executive Committee) ($25,000 Annually)

  • Shape CNEC Policy Decisions and Priorities. Platinum members play a direct role in shaping policy at the federal by actively participating in regular meetings organized by CNEC with members of Congress, hill staffers, and federal officials.

  • Increase Your Visibility Along the NEC. Gain visibility as a key player in critical infrastructure enhancements to the NEC before Congress, the Administration, and local governments.

  • Participate in Exclusive CNEC Platinum Member Events. In addition to regular CNEC regional and federal events, CNEC platinum members get exclusive invitations to speak at regional, local, and federal events, congressional hearings, and roundtables.

GOLD MEMBERS ($15,000 Annually)

SILVER MEMBERS ($5,000 Annually)

  • Support the Transportation Needs of Your Students and Employees. CNEC’s silver membership is designed specifically for Universities and public organizations invested in the NEC to spur commerce and support the needs of their students and staff.

  • Participate in CNEC Events. Participate in regional CNEC events and meetings with members of Congress and the administration to increase investment in NEC infrastructure projects that support travel to and from your campus.

  • Equip Your Employees With the Latest NEC News. Equip employees with bi-weekly CNEC newsletters.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP ($250 Annually)

  • Equip Your Employees With the Latest NEC News. For less than $5 a week, you will receive bi-weekly CNEC newsletters.
