The goals of the coalition are to Increase Congressional Appropriations for Amtrak’s capital funding for Northeast Corridor (NEC), to secure multi-year federal funding for the NEC, and to expand the quantity and quality of stakeholders capable of weighing-in and influencing the appropriations process, including those who have not traditionally advocated for NEC infrastructure.
